Heart for the Military
We welcome You, our military - in and around Robins Air Force Base where:
EDIMGIAFAD "Every Day in Middle Georgia is Armed Forces Appreciation Day".
Being an Air Force Veteran, I have a heart for our troops and the unique challenges you face. Our membership is made up of fellow Americans who know of military life either as a veteran, spouse, military "brat" or through interacting with the military as a civilian employee or neighbor! I would count it my great blessing to minister to you and your family while you're in Warner Robins. I want to be your Warner Robins Freedom Pastor.
We realize we are teaching and training missionaries when we minister to you, the military and your families. We then learn from you the things you have been fortunate enough to learn through your previous experiences in other churches around the world. It keeps all of us "sharpening our swords" as we learn and adapt our ministry methods and we grow in our experiences. God has always been faithful, in churches I've pastored, to bring in military to replace those military who are reassigned to a new duty station - "their new mission field".
We want Freedom to be your family and help you when you or your military spouse is away and your needs for "family" can be so great. Perhaps this is the first time you've come to a Baptist church - we want you to feel you've found "home". We are all people just like you - we don't have any super saints! We're all regular people trying to make it through life - we're just fortunate to have discovered how great it is to have someone, the Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer of the Universe, to help us on our journey. We've always had a friendly and enjoyable church and I have always taught and preached hard against sin while loving the sinner. I strive to preach so that our people know - we love them and God loves them - although we never compromise God's Word. My motto is: "We love you to Christ. We love you up in Christ and when you stray - we love you back to Christ!"
